Program Overview
PPM School of Management proudly presents the PPM School Summer Program 2025, a two-week hybrid program that offers a unique academic and cultural journey. Designed to foster cultural exchange and deepen understanding of consumer behavior in emerging markets, the program combines rigorous learning with practical, on-the-ground exploration.
Participants will engage in a diverse range of activities including interactive lectures, group discussions, and curated visits to cultural sites and local businesses in Bali. Program highlights include:
- Explore local MSMEs, including Bali’s iconic pie factory and creative industry
- Immersive experiences in both traditional markets and retail spaces
- Enjoy the mesmerizing Kecak dance performance at a cliffside temple in Uluwatu
- A cultural showcase where participants creatively present their own heritage, infused with inspiration from Indonesian culture
Academic Courses (Total: 5 Credits-PPM School’s Credits)
- Appreciation of Arts & Culture (2 SKS)
- Consumer Behavior: Insights and Applications (3 SKS)
Courses will be delivered by PPM’s faculty and guest professionals from related industries. Local mentors will also accompany students during the Bali trip to support cultural adaptation and engagement.

international & national airfare, visa, passport & travel insurance costs, and airport transfers.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- General Program InformationWhat is the format of the program?
The program runs for two weeks: the first week is online with interactive classes and the second week is offline in Bali with immersive cultural and business experiences.
What is the main language of instruction?All sessions will be conducted in English.
Who is eligible to apply?Undergraduate and graduate students from any major who are interested in culture, Southeast Asia, and its consumer behavior.
Will I receive a certificate and transcript?Yes. Participants who complete the full two-week program will receive a certificate and transcript. To be eligible, you must attend at least 80% of the online classes and complete the final project.
Can I join the program midway through?No. All participants are required to follow the entire program schedule, including both the online (Week 1) and offline (Week 2 in Bali) sessions. Full participation is essential to gain the complete experience and receive the certificate.
- Fees & PaymentWhat is included in the program fee?
The fee includes academic sessions (online and offline), accommodation in Bali (shared room of two), 3 meals per day during the week in Bali, excursions, company visits, a certificate of completion, and full documentation.
What is not included in the fee?International airfare, visa and passport arrangements, and personal transportation from/to the airport.
What should I do after making the payment?After completing your payment, send your payment proof to international@ppmschool.ac.id. You will then receive a confirmation email with all necessary onboarding information such as the detailed schedule, what to prepare, accommodation info, and cultural guidance.
Are scholarships or financial aid available?Currently, we do not offer scholarships. However, early bird discounts are available for those who apply before the specified deadline.
- Application ProcessHow do I apply?
Fill out the online registration form, upload required documents (passport scan, student ID, and motivation letter), and wait for the confirmation email.
When is the application deadline?The application deadline is on 7 July 2025. As for payment, the deadline is on 9 July 2025.
How will I know if I’ve been accepted?Accepted applicants will receive an official acceptance letter by email, along with payment instructions.
Can I cancel after applying?Yes. To cancel your participation, please submit a cancellation request via email to the Summer Program Committee at international@ppmschool.com. If your request is received before 14 July 2025, you will be eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations submitted after that date are non-refundable.
Is there a selection test to join the program?No, there is no selection test. Applicants simply need to follow the application procedures, including submitting the required documents and completing payment according to the timeline.
Do I need an English language certificate like TOEFL or IELTS to apply?No, we do not require an English proficiency certificate (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS) for this program. However, participants are expected to have a working proficiency in English, as the program will be conducted entirely in English.
- Travel & LogisticsWill someone pick me up at the airport in Bali?
Airport transfers are not included. However, guidance will be provided to help you reach the accommodation safely. This information will be sent to you after your payment.
What should I bring for the offline week?A detailed checklist will be share including clothing recommendations, cultural etiquette tips, and suggested items.
Will I need a visa to enter Indonesia?Visa requirements depend on your nationality. Citizens of most ASEAN countries (e.g., Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam) may enter Indonesia without a visa for short stays (up to 30 days) for tourism or educational purposes. However, regulations may change, and some nationalities may still require an e-visa or visa on arrival. We strongly recommend that all applicants—especially those from outside ASEAN—consult the Indonesian Embassy or Consulate in their home country for the most up-to-date visa information before making any travel arrangements.
Is travel insurance required?Yes. All participants are required to have valid travel insurance that covers their stay in Indonesia for the duration of the summer program. Please note that travel insurance is not provided by the organizers and must be arranged individually.
