Research Training Series
The Research Training Series is a recurring program organised by the Research Center and Case Clearing House (RC-CCH) as a platform for advancing management knowledge through structured and continuous research training. This program is designed to enhance research competencies among lecturers, students, and academic staff through a combination of material delivery, case study discussions, and two-way interactions between instructors and participants. Each training session not only focuses on conceptual understanding but also provides intensive assistance from experienced instructors and mentors to ensure that participants’ research processes follow proper methodology and result in high-quality outcomes.Through this initiative, RC-CCH is committed to fostering a productive, collaborative, and high-standard research ecosystem within PPM School of Management.
In 2026, RTS was conducted through two activities: the training “Academic Book Writing Strategies as an Output of Lecturers’ Scholarly Work” with Prof. Dr. Lela Nurlaela Wati, S.E., M.M., CRA, CRP., and the RTS Series “Modeling Complex Business and Management Problems Using System Dynamics” with Dr. Ir. Irman Firmansyah, S.Hut., M.Si., M.Sc. and Yoga Hepta Gumilar, S.Pd., M.Pd. The RTS Series was conducted in four sessions from September to December 2026 using training, practice, and mentoring approaches in applying system dynamics to research.
The RTS activities aim to enhance the ability of PPM School of Management lecturers to systematically develop scholarly work and research, as well as produce research outputs that can be developed into academic books, research proposals, and scholarly articles.
In 2025, the Research Training Series (RTS) was held once, featuring the theme “Advancing Research Capacity and Productivity through Quantitative Research Methodologies.” The program featured distinguished speakers: Prof. Ramayah Thurasami, Prof. Ir. Roy Sembel, MBA, Ph.D., and Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Surachman Surjaatmadja, M.M. The series took place from June to October 2025.
Researchers Bi-Monthly Meeting
The Researcher’s Bi-Monthly Meeting (RBM) is a regular program held every two months by the Research Center and Case Clearing House (RC-CCH) of PPM School of Management as a forum for sharing knowledge and experiences in the field of management research.This activity is designed to strengthen the research culture within the PPM environment through interactive discussions involving lecturers, researchers, and academic staff. Each RBM session features internal and external speakers who are experts in their fields, addressing topics such as research methodology, research idea development, and publication strategies in reputable journals. Through this forum, RC-CCH aims to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration and encourage the creation of relevant, innovative, and impactful research that contributes to the development of management science and business practices in Indonesia.
In 2026, three RBM sessions were held with various topics: “Strengthening Global Research Collaboration and Impactful Publications”, “The Importance of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) as an Output of Scholarly Work and Academic Innovation”, and “Modeling Electric 2-Wheel Vehicle (2WEV) Ridership Patterns for Low-Middle Income (LMI) Populations in Jakarta.” Through these activities, RC-CCH promotes a culture of knowledge sharing and a spirit of research within PPM Management.
RBM 2026 Ke-1 (17th April)
The RBM event was conducted by Dr. Nawang Kalbuana, SE., M.Ak, Ak, CA and Dr. Noveri Maulana, S.I.Kom., M.M., featuring the theme “Strengthening Global Research Collaboration and Impactful Publications.” The event was held from 09:00 to 11:00 WIB at the Kadarman Room, Building B, STM PPM.
RBM 2026 ke-2 (26th May)
The RBM event was conducted by Prof. Dr. Ir. Astri Rinanti, M.T., IPM., ASEAN Eng featuring the theme “Pentingnya HKI sebagai Luaran Karya Ilmiah dan Inovasi Akademik” The event was held from 09:00 to 11:00 WIB at the B300, Amphitheater, Building B, STM PPM.
RBM 2026 ke-3 (25th June)
The RBM session featured Dakota Pekerti, B.S.E. as the speaker, who presented on the topic “Modeling Electric 2-Wheel Vehicle (2WEV) Ridership Patterns for Low-Middle Income (LMI) Populations in Jakarta.” The session was held from 10:30–11:30 a.m. (WIB) via Zoom Meeting.
In 2025, three RBM sessions were conducted, covering a variety of topics, namely “Mindset Hack: Critical Thinking for Next-Gen Managers,” “Stories as Data: Exploring Narrative Inquiry in Qualitative Research,” and “Thought Leader Branding: Becoming an Excellent Academic through Collaborative Learning in Research.” The following are the RBM sessions that were conducted during the 2025 period:

RBM 2025 ke-3 (24th July)
The RBM session featured Prof. Amalia E. Maulana, Ph.D. and Dr. Ir. Amelia Naim Indrajaya, M.B.A. as the speakers, who presented on the topic “Thought Leader Branding: Becoming an Excellent Academic through Collaborative Learning in Research.” The session was held from 2:00–5:00 p.m. (WIB) at the Amphitheater, Building B, STM PPM.
