Student Executive Board (BEM)

PPM School of Management facilitates students to participate in non-academic (extracurricular) activities through various student organizations such as the Student Executive Board (BEM) and Student Activity Units (UKM).

Students involved in these organizations are expected to prepare themselves for the new era with skills in management, communication, and leadership. Student organizations play a crucial role in shaping personality, character, and broad-mindedness, preparing students to become professionals in their respective fields.

In general, BEM and UKM serve as:

  • Communication channels among students
  • Platforms for developing student potential as knowledgeable and academically competent individuals who contribute to the nation
  • Venues for intellectual development, leadership training, and organizational management
  • Institutions for fostering future national leaders oriented toward sustainable national development, grounded in academic norms, ethics, morality, and national insight

Roles and Responsibilities of BEM

  1. Adhere to the Student Code of Ethics and Student Activity Guidelines of PPM School of Management
  2. Coordinate and communicate with the Student Affairs Coordinator
  3. Develop work programs aimed at character development and organizational leadership
  4. Approve and submit proposals for activities organized by BEM and UKM
  5. Coordinate and supervise the work programs of UKM
  6. Prepare accountability reports on activities and organizational management to the Student Affairs Coordinator
  7. Represent and advocate for student rights and aspirations in both academic and welfare matters

Student Activity Units

  1. Adhere to the Student Code of Ethics and Student Activity Guidelines of PPM School of Management
  2. Develop work programs, especially those related to students’ interests, talents, and hobbies
  3. Implement activities according to the approved work programs
  4. Prepare accountability reports on activities and organizational management to the Student Affairs Coordinator, with approval from BEM
